The Power of Every Woman: An Honest Conversation About Women’s Sexual Health & Our Beautiful Bodies

In this small group session we will discuss the importance of sexual health to our overall well-being.  We’ll begin with a refresher course in genital anatomy and then move onto a review of the multifactorial nature of sexual health, explore models of sexual response and function, and share tips and resources for optimal sexual health and well-being.

Women’s Health Educational Consult (1:1 Session)


As a fellowship trained Women’s Health physician, Dr. Birkholz has expertise in several specialty areas including Menopausal Medicine, Sexual Medicine and Breast Cancer Risk Assessment.  In this 1:1 you will have the opportunity to spend an hour with Dr. Birkholz discussing your specific concerns on a more personal level and empowering yourself with the knowledge necessary to return to your HCP and advocate for the care you deserve.

Dr. Laurie Birkholz,  is a board certified Family Medicine physician and fellowship-trained Women’s Health specialist practicing in Southwest Michigan.

Dr. Birkholz believes in the importance of caring for the whole woman through a holistic approach based in lifestyle medicine and prevention. Her Women’s Health training allows for additional focus in areas that include menopausal medicine, sexual health and gynecology.

Dr. Birkholz embraces the belief that knowledge is power and strives to educate and empower her patients to lead their healthiest and most fulfilling lives. She is committed to providing a safe space that offers compassionate, evidence-based medicine while promoting social tolerance and equality. ALL are welcome and celebrated in her practice.

Dr. Birkholz, husband Eric, and their two children, Hayden and Anna, live in Saugatuck, MI and love all things outdoors. She is a lifelong wellness enthusiast, avid runner and Peloton addict.
