About Ashley Tauriac, MD, FAAP

Dr. Ashley Tauriac has had a unique journey in medicine. After completing her medical training at Vanderbilt, she unfortunately contracted bacterial meningitis and faced additional stressors while finishing her residency. To aid in her healing and establish healthy work habits, she worked for several years part-time as a general pediatrician and part-time planning international medical mission trips. She then transitioned to working primarily as a locum, while also engaging in opportunities such as writing her own book and teaching about burnout. Currently, she works with newborns and instructs at Vanderbilt Medical School.
