Biography

Christina Quick is Wine Director for Provision in Fairhope, AL. Christina holds an MA in Arts Administration from Florida State University and a BM in Vocal Performance from Wheaton College (IL). During her 10 year career in arts administration and corporate sponsorship, Christina managed million dollar + sponsorship programs in Florida, Chicago and Orange County, CA.

Christina’s love for wine began right out of college but truly flourished under the guidance of close family friends and winemakers (Phifer-Pavitt Wines), Gary and Terry Warburton. While living in CA, the Quick’s lived with the Warburton’s for a short time and often spent time with them drinking and learning as well as helping to bottle the recent vintages. Christina and her husband, Scott, took advantage of every free weekend and moment to tour CA wine regions to taste and learn. In the past 15 years, Christina has traveled to and tasted many well-crafted wines from France, Germany, Austria and Italy. While in Chicago at the Ravinia Festival (the largest outdoor music festival in the country), she successfully brokered a multi-year wine sponsorship, shifting the sophistication of the wine program for the over 600,000 annual guests that is still in place today.

For 7 years, while welcoming the couple’s three children into the world, Christina worked part time at Coastal Church in Daphne, leading and maintaining the church’s small groups, communications and connections.

At Provision, Christina has crafted a unique and terroir focused wine program of over 150 wines that truly allow each guest to experience “a sense of place.” The wine program features well-crafted wines from family-owned producers growing the grapes that naturally thrive in that soil and climate. Christina also manages Provision’s 90+ member monthly wine club featuring an array of wines, tasting experiences and store benefits.

Christina has over 15 years of professional and self-directed wine studies. Recently, she was awarded a scholarship from the Court of Master Sommeliers to begin her sommelier program training.

Christina and her husband, Scott, live in Daphne, AL and have three children, Rachel (8), Gabi (6) and Joshua (4).
